Studios (one-room apartments)

Studios (or one-room apartments) are our most popular apartments. All studio apartments have their own separate kitchen or a kitchenette plus own bathroom. Pets are allowed in all studios, except for the apartments in Siksak buildings.

Studio apartments are unfurnished. Internet connection is included in the rent in all studios. You can check from the building’s information on our website, whether electricity is included in the rent. In most of our studios, you need to make your own electricity agreement. Sauna and laundry room can be reserved for free.

In Raastuvankatu 11 and Sekahaku V, there are also a few mini studios with their own bathrooms and mini kitchens. In the common area of these apartments, there is a larger kitchen that the tenants can use.

Two- and three-room apartments

Two- and three-room apartments are suitable for families or friends. All these apartments have a kitchen or kitchenette and a bathroom.

During the busy fall time, applicants with children have a priority for two- and three-room apartments.

In two- and three-room apartments, the applicants make a joint tenancy agreement, in case there are two applicants. It is not possible to make two separate contracts to the same apartment. Pets are welcome in all two- and three-room apartments. You can check from the building’s information on our website, whether electricity is included in the rent. In most of our studios, you need to make your own electricity agreement. Sauna and laundry room can be reserved for free.

All two- and three-room apartments are unfurnished.

Shared apartments

Shared apartments are an affordable and convenient option for students. In a shared apartment, you make an agreement for your own room. Electricity, internet connection and the use of sauna and laundry room are included in the rent in all shared apartments.

The size of shared apartments varies between 2 and 5 rooms. In most of the apartments, the bathroom and kitchen areas are shared between the tenants. In Olympia II and Raastuvankatu 11, there are some rooms with own bathrooms.

Only the person who has made the agreement to the room is allowed to live there. Pets are not allowed in shared apartments.

If you wish to apply for a shared apartment with your friend, please both fill out your own applications and mention the friend’s name in the additional information section.

Furnished rooms

There are furnished rooms in Olympia I, Ahvenranta, Linna, Tekla II and Suviboxi. The furniture in these rooms includes a bed, a desk, a bookshelf, two chairs, a trashbin, a table lamp and a ceiling lamp. The furniture fee varies between 10–12 euros per month.
